Like most websites and programs the first step starts with “Hello world!”.
This is mostly a first test to check if everything is working fine.
In most programming languages this is one of the first programs you write to get acquainted to the language.
The phrase probably became so popular among programmers because of it’s joke.
It looks like the machine became self aware.
The first example of “Hello world!” appeared in 1972 in “Tutorial Introduction to the Language B” by Kernighan.
